A raft of new functionality was added to the enterprise cloud computing CRM system in Salesforce.com (SFDC), during the Summer 15 release. This has brought the need for developers and app providers to ensure that their apps work with the updated version of SFDC.
Here at Data8 we’ve gone a step further; not only have we ensured that our Salesforce app is compatible with the update, but we’ve extended its functionality. As well as allowing you to add address, phone and email validation to your SFDC CRM, you can now validate bank details. This is another method of ensuring data is accurate before it incurs costs and negatively impacts the customer experience.
As the amount of online banking transactions increases rapidly, so does the need for capturing payment details correctly. Failed payments increase companies’ operating costs, as reprocessing failed payments can cost on average £35 a time, and cause inconvenience and customer dissatisfaction. Our accurate bank validation technology enables faster and hassle free payments. This contributes to creating a positive customer experience.
This new functionality enables the company to ensure that a sort code and account number are genuine, as well as provide additional information such as bank name, branch address and if the account accepts Direct Debits etc. The tool also provides the IBAN associated to that particular bank account which enables you to meet the forthcoming SEPA deadline of October 2016.
